The Province of Ontario has again extended the ‘State Of Emergency’.  This time to June 9.

PLEASE BE SURE TO FOLLOW AS BEST YOU CAN THE INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINES THAT YOUR LOCAL AND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS HAVE PUBLISHED.

To do our part, Alma Bible Church has cancelled ALL church events or moved them online.  In addition, the church building is closed to all unnecessary traffic.  We are asking that people refrain from coming to the church building.   If you need to contact a member of the church staff, please do not hesitate to phone, or send an email.  As for donations, cheques can be sent in the mail, or you can take advantage of e-transfers.  Your cooperation in this effort will help towards ensuring the ongoing health of Church staff, and volunteers who need to enter the building.

We have provided the following links, in an effort to help each of you stay informed on Coronavirus developments.

As a leadership team we are concerned for everyone in our community.  If you or someone you know is in need of groceries or some other form of physical care, we would really appreciate if you would let us know.  Also, the elders and our Pastoral team are available if you have any needs spiritually, or emotionally.  This is proving to be a very stressful time for many.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you find yourself in need.

The leadership team is also very aware that there are people working hard to see what can be done about easing restrictions to allow for churches to gather in person.  We are watching the developments closely and will keep you posted as to our plans.

Please know that as a leadership we are all very concerned about each and every one of you.   If there is anything at all that we can do to help, please let us know.

On behalf of the leadership team at Alma

Mark McCready
Senior Pastor
